Help me decide where to move to. Denver or Albuquerque?
I currently live in San Jose, CA but I’m so tired paying so much for nothing. Cali is way too expensive, therefore I have narrowed my decision to either Denver or Albuquerque for a new place to call home.
About me: I’m retired military (24 yrs of service). I have a Masters degree in Management and I’m currently working as a Security Supervisor. I’m also I’m gay.
I don’t like humid summers and would like a place where i could rent or buy a inexpensive condo (or possibly a 2 bedroom house).
I’m not too worried about finding work because just about every larger city hires Security Officers.
So any input on the pros and cons of both locations would be great!!! Thanks!

California sucks
Both of your choices are good. They aren’t too expensive and they are both very good cities for Management jobs. There are lots of executive positions in both cities.
If you like warm weather and a growing job market, I would suggest Albuquerque.
If you like mountains and cooler weather(not too cold but similar to NYC or Washington, DC)
Denver would be your best choice.
But, Denver has really bad traffic. If I could choose, I’d go with Albuquerque.
